Molly is a very smart, energetic, friendly pet. We have had her for 2 weeks and have decided we just do not have the room. The original owner has 4 kids, 4 cats and 4 dogs so I do not believe compatibility with other pets should be a problem but have not had her long enough to guarantee. She potties outside and has been great with our 10 yo daughter A great backyard would be ideal for Molly.

Rescue Me ID: 16-08-04-00480Deep Eddy (male)

Basset Hound Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Deep Eddy is, at best guess, a Bassett Hound mixed with a Jack Russell. He's short and squat and a powerhouse of a boy. He loves nothing more than something to occupy his brain and he has stamina to go anywhere you do! Eddy is completely recovered from his heartworm treatment and he's waiting for that forever home! He can be shy around new people but loves food and is very motivated to learn. Eddy would prefer a home with a backyard as he is very strong and has typical jack russel energy. Please put in an application at www.hopemariesfund.org if you are interested in adopting this sweet boy.

Basset Hound Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament

Meet Fred and Ethel! She is a 3-5 yr old beagle/bassett hound that was found running loose with her beagle buddy Fred when she was already pregnant with her 10 babies. She came into the rescue and was separated from Fred to have her brood. He was pretty devastated. It was a week before we could get him to eat. Once the babies were weaned, they were reunited and couldn't be happier together. She is about 30-35 lbs, Fred is 3 yrs old, 25 lbs and all beagle. Ethel is outgoing and confident, Fred is more shy with everything but very sweet and loving. Great with other dogs. They have been spayed and neutered. Both have also been ... (Read More)vaccinated, wormed and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $200 for the pair. Won't you consider giving both of these babies a loving home? Rescue Me ID: 16-06-04-00288Haley (female)

Basset Hound Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Haley is an adorable 6-7 year old pointer/Bassett hound mix. She has the cutest long body and short, stumpy legs-She truly is the cutest mix ever! Haley came to be a Waldo's dog, along with her friend Blue, after their long-time owner died. It is not a requirement that Blue and Haley be adopted into the same home but if you want to adopt both that would be great! Haley loves human attention, loves to be petted, loves to give kisses, and loves to snuggle with her foster mom. She is always ready to greet you with a tail wag when she sees you. Haley is good with other dogs, although she can be iffy at times with other dominant females but ... (Read More)she's easily redirected. She is housebroken, walks great on a leash and is learning to play! She loves to lounge around on her doggie bed and chew on antlers. We would love Haley to be adopted with Blue but they can be separated and do just fine. Haley is currently in a foster home with 4 other dogs and she fits right in to the pack. Haley's foster mom absolutely adores her and thinks she's the cutest, sweetest girl ever! Haley is spayed, UTD on vaccines, HW negative and on monthly hw/flea preventative. Haley would do best in a home where someone is home most of the time and we would recommend a home without small children. If you are looking for a goofy gal that will always bring a smile to your face, Haley is the one! Adoption fee $150 Due to the high volume of emails received, we recommend you visit our website and fill out an adoption application. This does not obligate you to adopt, it just helps us determine if a certain dog is a good fit for your household. Adoption applications can be found at www.waldosmuttleycrew.org. Thank you! (Less)

Mrs. Beasley: 11 yr old beagle/bassett. Independent soul .. loves to explore and investigate. She definitely has the hound nose and trots around following scents. She likes to be in the vicinity of her 'people' . She does fine with other dogs but basically ignores them. She's potty trained. No kids ... her vision is somewhat decreased so sudden movements can startle her. Adoption fee $100
