|Animal ID: 475Kendra (female)|
Hi, I'm Kendra. I was abandoned along with my sisters Kimmie (dog473) and Tori (dog474). Like my sisters, I'm a friendly dog and would make a good family pet. I don't know why we ended up here but at least now we have a chance to have what all dogs want - someone to love! Do you need someone to love you?

|Rescue Me ID: 14-08-10-00447Earl (male)|
Earl is a 9 year old 2/3 basset hound and 1/3 beagle...Mom was a full-blooded basset and dad was beagle. He now lives in a home outside in a very large size pen. His owner recently passed away...The family is trying to find him a good home. He has always been an outside dog. We do have someone at this time feeding and watching over him, but not for very much longer. We do not live in the area. We are willing to get his shots and whatever needs to be done.

Basset Hound Dogs can make good pets in Missouri if they match your IifestyIe. The Basset Hound is an exceptionally gentle, friendly dog that makes a great family pet. Basset Hounds are great with children. They require some patience to housebreak. Basset Hounds can do tricks, especially for treats. If overfed, a Basset Hound can quickly put on weight which strains its legs. Basset Hounds need plenty of exercise to stay healthy, but should be discouraged from jumping so as not to stress their legs. Basset Hounds can live in an apartment but need long walks and opportunities to run and play.
