Rescue Me ID: 14-11-27-00239Randall (male)
Poor sweet Randy was dumped at the end of my street by someone and was very hungry, and very dirty and his nails were overgrown, growing into his pads. After posting him on several sites and notifying proper authorities, we were unable to locate his owner so we accepted him into our rescue. Randy had a skin infection and was diagnosed with heartworms. Upon his treatment of his skin, we also started the slow kill method and 6 months later, he is now heartworm negative! :) Randall is a super sweet guy who gets along with all of our dogs and loves people. He is working on being 100% potty trained and is doing well if taken out on a schedule. He is not the typical beagle and he prefers to be loved on sitting in your lap vs hunting. Randall is about 3 years old and is neutered; utd on shots and will be microchipped upon adoption. If you want to meet Randall please let us know. **Randall was just put on thyroid medicine and feels GREAT!** he is slowly losing weight and enjoys running around the pond now (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-11-22-00353Declan (male)
Declan was pulled from Rowan County AC on his last day. He was pulled with his brother who has since found his FURver home. Now Declan waits patiently for his. He's such a character. He's a fun and incredibly happy boy. He has such a unique look and just the best personality ever to go along with it. Hes great with other dogs, his foster has horses and donkeys and he does well with both. He enjoys long walks and hikes, honestly I'm not sure how he's still available because he's pretty much 100% amazing.

Rescue Me ID: 14-01-12-00253Elmo (male)
Elmo is a 6 year old Black Lab mix. Elmo has spent his whole life outside in a 10x01 kennel. When he came into foster he had never been inside a house. He has spent the few months just learning how to be a pet. He was very comfortable out in my fenced yard but would freak out in the house. He was afraid of everything inside. I had to actually go outside and leash him and dragged him in. Then it started to get cold and he finally decided that sleeping inside wasn't so bad. He will now come in when called and actually comes to the door and comes in own his own. Elmo has never gotten on any of my furniture or chewed up anything. He has been the perfect house guest. He has discovered the big fluffy dog beds that appears just before bedtime each night and boy has he become really fond of them. Elmo had never when for drive in the car and getting him in was quite a nightmare. We have been working on this for sometime now and he doesn't mind riding and is okay once he's in the car but is still a little hesitant about getting in. Elmo hadn't had much leash training and at first walked in 10 foot circles. Guess he was just so used to only having 10 foot to walk before turning the corner in the kennel. He is doing really good on leash. Does still pull a little but is doing better every time he's leashed. Elmo will come up to be petted but is not a real snuggy huggy kinda fellow. He is very loyal and will be right there with you and I'm sure with some time and patience he could become a snuggle bug. Elmo graduated from the 'New Leash on Life' program at the local prison where he spent 8 weeks being trained. He knows sit and stay really well. Elmo is neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative and on prevention. Adoption Fee $150.00 (Less)
