Rescue Me ID: 15-07-28-00911Edison (male)

Basset Hound Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Edison is 2 1/2 years of happy, easy-going Cocker cross. The cross may be Basset Hound, as the face and silky coat are Cocker, but the body is long and legs are strong. He is a striking white with gold patches. He loves a good body rub and games of keep away with squeaky toys, and fetch. He weighs in at 22lbs. Truly beautiful, it's hard to believe this guy had to be rescued. But he did, and now he needs a new family. He is neutered and has had all his shots. He's even microchipped. Know that he is really smart. His new family will need to have a secure yard. There is no adoption fee, but many questions will need to be answered, and both ... Rescue Me ID: 15-05-01-00092Frazier (male)

Basset Hound    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Frazier has been staying at my farm since his adoption fell through. He's an overall good dog who loves people and attention and even other dogs. He can have separation anxiety but does well with other dogs to help. He barks at cats which makes him obnoxious around them but he won't harm them. He's funny and athletic despite his looks and being a Bassett. He needs more leash training but is trainable and smart. He knows how to use a doggy door and if he has one, he's good, but without one, he will have an accident from time to time. He gets along with all the dogs he's met from a Great Dane to a small puppy. He does require a strong ... (Read More)leader; if he thinks he can push you around, he'll act like he's going to get you but he really doesn't want to. Like a child, he will test his boundaries, but he's a good dog who loves people and dogs and is conflicted over cats but doesn't harm them. He's ready for someone experienced with the breed to adopt him into their forever home. (Less)
