Basset Hound

Monica and Phoebe were found by animal control playing in a road together. When they arrived at the shelter we noticed that Monica had been on our missing pet page before. We pulled up the old report and found the info, got in contact with her owner and the owner also knew who Phoebe belonged to also because they play together. The owner claimed that she was going to come get her and that she would also let Phoebe's owner know but never called back and will not return any of our phone calls. Monica and Phoebe are still here at the shelter and are in need of rescue. Monica is a 2 year old Pit mix. She weighs 52 lbs, looks to be a healthy, ... (Read More)happy girl. She did excellent on her behavior evaluation and would do fine with other dogs or cats. Phoebe is a 7 month old Hound mix. She weighs 39 lbs, is also healthy and will literally smile for you :). She is dog and cat friendly. Both of these sweet girls are playful and sweet. They love playing with each other and are always so happy. Phoebe is a silly girl, she waits until Monica isn't paying attention and jumps on her back to play. Monica doesn't mind she likes to play and have fun just as much. You can't help but have a smile on your face when these best friends are around! These two do not have to stay together but they do very, very well together. If anyone is interested in helping Monica and Phoebe please email me! tholmes@gwdhumanesociety.org (Less)
