Rescue Me ID: 14-10-15-00555Lilo (female)

Basset Hound Mix    Age: Puppy

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Lilo, are Myrtle are adorable littermates. They have shorter legs so may be part Dachshund. They are all very sweet and loving babies. Please don't overlook these - it is harder to get great photos of black dogs so they are often not chosen for adoption. But we promise black puppies make great dogs! Most of our pets are obtained from animal control and therefore we are not certain of their breed or breed mix. We list breed mixes that they most resemble or that their former owners said they were. However, we don't make any guarantees about breed - it is a best guess! Our adoption fees include the spay/neuter surgery, deworming, vet exam, and ... (Read More)up to date vaccines. It also includes microchipping as well as heartworm testing or feline leukemia testing. Please email or call us at (864)972-9994 for more information. This phone number will reach Crossroads Animal Hospital, which is the home of CARE. During business hours, a receptionist will be able to speak with you regarding our adoptable pets. After business hours, the only way to contact CARE is via email. Our puppies and kittens are also eligible for 25% off the rest of the vaccines in their puppy/kitten vaccination series at Crossroads Animal Hospital. Most adult pets are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Puppies and kittens may have the surgery before adoption or we may have new owners return later for the surgery. For more information about CARE and to see our adoption application, go to our website, www.crossroadsanimalrescue.org To meet one of our adoptable pets or to start the adoption process, please access the adoption application on our website, www.crossroadsanimalrescue.org and email it to drkathyjordan@yahoo.com. We will then approve you (sending in the application does not obligate you to adopt) and we can set up a time for you to meet one or more of our pets. You can then pay the adoption fee and officially adopt after meeting your new family member. Alternatively, you can do the adoption over the phone before meeting your new pet. The benefit to this is that we will hold the pet for you. However, the adoption fee is non-refundable if you changed your mind after adopting over the phone. (Less)

Olive is a lovely little Basset Hound. She was picked up as a stray by animal control on a Friday and due to overcrowding, was due to be killed on the upcoming Monday! We rushed to get her and a few others out to prevent any being put down and instantly fell in love with Olive. She is WONDERFUL. Loves to go for car rides, loves to be with her people, and is good with other dogs. We have not cat tested her yet but I do think she would be OK with them. She is a sweetheart all around. Loves to be pet and keeps her kennel really clean, she may be housetrained. Olive is absolutely adorable. She has been to the vet and spayed and tested ... (Read More)positive for heartworms, so we are raising funds for her treatment. Once healthy, she will be available for adoption unless an adoptive family would like to cover the treatment themselves. Olive's adoption fee is $150 assist with medical expenses. Donations welcome! *We cannot guarantee any dog in rescue housetrained as we focus on mental and medical rehabilitation of over 40 dogs at any given time* More information and photos can be found on our Facebook page at For Belle's Sake Rescue and Rehabilitation or on our webpage at forbellessake.org (Less)

Hi I'm Lucky, well maybe now i will be. My peeps fell on hard times and they lost their home and ended up having to move in with family. I was not able to come along so they had to drop me off here at a high kill facility, however, a small rescue group took me in until another rescue or private adopter comes along.
