|Rescue Me ID: 17-02-03-00331Cabella (female)|
Cabella is a female Beagle and Basset mix puppy (approximately 8 months as of 2-10-17) who is good with most dogs. She is very sweet and loving with adults, but does not do well with children. She is fun and playful and absolutely beautiful. She can be shy and standoffish when she meets someone new, but warms up quickly. We don't know much about Cabella's past other than she was recently dumped in a rural area in a man's yard. This good Samaritan called RARE and asked us to find Cabella a wonderful home. So that is our mission.....1 wonderful home for Cabella. Is it you? Adoption Fee $225.00 **An application and home visit are required. Transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes. Please ask us for more information if you are not in Tennessee** **All of our pets are or will be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines and micro-chipped prior to adoption. Please complete the application on our website and we will call you to answer any questions you may have.** Our adoption fees not only help the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heart-worm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need to be made available for adoption. Thank you for choosing to adopt, foster, or aid in the rescue efforts of RARE! *****AN APPLICATION AND HOME VISIT ARE REQUIRED***** Please visit www.RuralAnimalRescueEffort.org for foster and adoption applications or for additional information. ***Please Note*** The breeds noted are guesses on the part of the volunteers of RARE based on the physical characteristics of the particular animal. Basset Hound Dogs can make good pets in Tennessee if they match your IifestyIe. The Basset Hound is an exceptionally gentle, friendly dog that makes a great family pet. Basset Hounds are great with children. They require some patience to housebreak. Basset Hounds can do tricks, especially for treats. If overfed, a Basset Hound can quickly put on weight which strains its legs. Basset Hounds need plenty of exercise to stay healthy, but should be discouraged from jumping so as not to stress their legs. Basset Hounds can live in an apartment but need long walks and opportunities to run and play.
