Rescue Me ID: 17-02-03-00331Cabella (female)

Basset Hound Mix    Age: Puppy

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Cabella is a female Beagle and Basset mix puppy (approximately 8 months as of 2-10-17) who is good with most dogs. She is very sweet and loving with adults, but does not do well with children. She is fun and playful and absolutely beautiful. She can be shy and standoffish when she meets someone new, but warms up quickly. We don't know much about Cabella's past other than she was recently dumped in a rural area in a man's yard. This good Samaritan called RARE and asked us to find Cabella a wonderful home. So that is our mission.....1 wonderful home for Cabella. Is it you? Adoption Fee $225.00 **An application and home visit are ... (Read More)required. Transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes. Please ask us for more information if you are not in Tennessee** **All of our pets are or will be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines and micro-chipped prior to adoption. Please complete the application on our website and we will call you to answer any questions you may have.** Our adoption fees not only help the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heart-worm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need to be made available for adoption. Thank you for choosing to adopt, foster, or aid in the rescue efforts of RARE! *****AN APPLICATION AND HOME VISIT ARE REQUIRED***** Please visit www.RuralAnimalRescueEffort.org for foster and adoption applications or for additional information. ***Please Note*** The breeds noted are guesses on the part of the volunteers of RARE based on the physical characteristics of the particular animal. Rescue Me ID: 17-01-06-00296Miss Harley Jean (female)

Basset Hound Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Abused/Neglected

Miss Harley Jean is a beautiful and sweet 3-year old Basset mix that we rescued and adopted two years ago from a chained yard. She did not have much, if any, interaction with humans or other animals her first year with previous owners. These past two years with Harley have been wonderful except for her food aggression around our two smaller and older pups, which we've worked out with a separate feeding area, and except for her very recent jealously/aggression toward them when she's in an excited state. Harley Jean would make a fabulous pet for an individual or a family, including children, who doesn't/don't have other pets and can keep ... (Read More)her exercised with lots of play time and walks. She's a very smart and obedient inside pup who LOVES to cuddle on the sofa and equally loves going on long walks so that she can 'hunt' and go wherever her nose leads her as long as I can follow! (And, yes, she's always on a leash outside as we don't have a fenced yard, but she sure would love one!) FYI, Harley probably has some Bluetick Coonhound in her as she looks very much like UT's Smokey, but we're not positive about that. (Less)
