Basset Hound Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hello, I'm Hooch! I'm told that I'm such a sweetie! I am nearly for sure they say a yellow lab and basset mix Because I look exactly like both of those mixes!!!! I am they tell me 2 years old or 2 1/2 years old maybe even possibly 3 years old? I am a sweet dog. I haven't had tons of socialization so will just need some training in how it is to be a spoiled pooch living in a home having my own bed and being loved and doted on. My foster mom gave me pillows to sleep in in my kennel and gosh how i love that. I love to roll on the grass on my back with my legs in the air. That is so much fun. I like water but I'm not a ball dog. I like other ... (Read More)dogs but I think I like females better than males in general. If I live in a home with another dog I think if it is a male it needs to be somewhat submissive (perhaps?) but definitely I should not live in a home with a dominant male dog. I raise my ears and I'm very curious on walks when I see cats but I think I can be trained to leave them alone. I do not pull to chase them or bark at them when I'm walking and I see them. I will need you to teach him how to sit, come, the usual things a dog gets to learn when living in a home. I am very friendly and I love humans. I'm learning how to be a love bug, I got so used to being independent but over time I'm certain I will be more and more of a love bug. I like all dogs I have met except for one dog that was not nice to me... He was kind of a bully... all other dogs I have met I liked and played fine with. I haven't met small children so the humans can't say yet how I am with them, but we think I would be fine as long as they didn't do things like pull my tail and /or jump on me. I would love to be living in a home with you in the NW. My adoption fee is flexible as the rescue wants a great forever home and is willing to lose money rehoming me but ONLY if I have a great forever loving home. I have come a long way being transported from Texas. I have been fixed, microchipped and fully vetted. I know not the BEST photos I'm MUCH cuter in real life. TX is very HOT so before I arrived in the NW I had some play time in the water to keep cool. Thank you for considering me as your new best friend. (Less)
