Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Needs Vaccinations

I know that its a lot to ask 100 dollars for a dog but one must understand I don't want to give him up. I love Lewis with all I have but I do not have the money for vet bills that he may be getting soon and I now have to relocate to Florida because I can not afford to live in Washington anymore. I can honestly feel my heart breaking as I even consider giving him up but it is what is best for him and I do not think he would do well in Florida. Lewis needs a home where he can live the rest of his days and be loved. He is an amazing dog. He would be the perfect fit for almost any family. If you can help please please help me and him. If I give ... (Read More)him to the shelter they will put him down. Please someone help. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-04-07-00446Frasier (male)

Basset Hound Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Frasier, an older basset mix boy about 6 years old. He is approx. 30 pounds wants a nice home, he is picky about other dogs (although he loves the females), fully vetted, If he is with a male dog at first he might not be that friendly but in a little time we have found he is friendly with EVERY dog, just takes him some time. He has a gentle and sweet heart and will make an less active person or couple a great loving companion! Older dogs are tons easier, they do not require that much exercise... people think you can only bond with a puppy, that is so not the truth.... He loves human attention, we think a home with children would be fine ... (Read More)as long as they are supervised so they do not pull his tail, sit on him and the like. He ignores the cats where he is staying now! (Less)
