    Meet Mr. Dudley! This cute boy was a stray, so our information on him is creating itself everyday. He is a hound/basset mix or a heeler/basset mix, maybe! He is long and short! Dudley needs a fenced yard to keep him from following his nose, and he is getting up their in years, so the fence will also keep him safe! If you have the space in your heart for this guy, come and meet him. I am sue he will love you!!

    Lilac is a sweet girl who loves attention and wants you all to herself :) She is good with other dogs, as long as she has a good introduction, she appreciates the old school manners and does not like a dog right in her face. Once she has a proper meet and greet, she is fine with other dogs. Lilac came to us from the pound, very scared and skittish, but has blossomed into a very sweet and loving girl!! She is ready for her forever family, no cats please! GOD'S DOG'S does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.     Basset Hound Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. The Basset Hound is an exceptionally gentle, friendly dog that makes a great family pet. Basset Hounds are great with children. They require some patience to housebreak. Basset Hounds can do tricks, especially for treats. If overfed, a Basset Hound can quickly put on weight which strains its legs. Basset Hounds need plenty of exercise to stay healthy, but should be discouraged from jumping so as not to stress their legs. Basset Hounds can live in an apartment but need long walks and opportunities to run and play.
