Basset Hound Mix    Age: Adult

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Here's GUS, the sweetest and most lovable 5 year old Bassett hound mix around. A most interesting face challenges us with what he may be mixed with. He's a little under 60 pounds, neutered and up to date on all his shots. He did come into rescue as heartworm positive but he's been treated and all is well. Gus is good with other dogs and he loves to play, cats are not his best friends and he'd be better off in a home without them. In a previous foster home he supposedly showed signs of separation anxiety and might be better as a great companion for your current dog. We're slowly working on crate training and he seems to like a hard sided ... (Read More)crate much better than a wire one. He's one smart boy and respects the leash and car seat belt so you can take him along with you everywhere. He did live with small children, but due to his size and that fiercely ever wagging tail children over the age of 7 are recommended. Gus is currently being fostered in Lake Geneva and is available through Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue. His adoption fee is $350. Please call foster mom Cathy at 262-215-0002 for your opportunity to meet this great guy. (Less)
